Talking is a craft too

I’ve had the absolute pleasure of being on the board of directors for the SLC chapter of AIGA. As the co-director of education, I get to help support our universities state-wide with events and planning. Additionally, I get to plan an event where the students get to show off their work and get helpful feedback from our state’s top agencies and design departments.

We typically don’t brand each event every year, but this year we felt like we needed a shift. I really felt that since EVERY student was going to have one-on-ones with agency directors, that the idea of talking was a huge component of the event–because we all know that being able to talk about your work is just as important as the work itself.
